Ashok is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, SRM University. Before joining at SRM, he was a Pos-Doc. Research Associate at the Department of Biological Systems Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Madison, WI, USA. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from May 2010 to August 2013, and in the Department of Materials and Minerals Resources Engineering, National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT), Taipei, Taiwan, from February 2009 to April 2010. He did extensive research work on separation of carbon nanotubes (semiconducting, metallic), graphene, and sensors. He received his Ph.D. degree in engineering from the NTUT, Taipei, Taiwan, in January 2009. He has published more than 37 research articles and 3 review articles in international peer-reviewed journals. He has served as an Editor and a Co-editor for two books. Ashok is serving as an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Materials /Carbon basedmaterials. Ashok is also serving as one of the Editorial Board member for Journal of Chemistry & Journal of Nanomateials.
